Juwan Howard landed his first Big Time recruit with the commitment of 2020 6'10 210 5 star forward Isaiah Todd. As we all know, Juwan is taking over a program that didn't really even recruit 5 star guys as Coach B preferred to find "under the radar" guys that he could develop and fit his system.
Juwan a former 5 star talent himself has a different philosophy and the first domino to fall in his plan was Todd, who is a consensus 5 star to all the services: Rivals ranks him the #10 overall player, ESPN has him #7, and 24/7 has him #14.
Michigan beat out Kansas, NC, Kentucky, UCLA, Virginia, Memphis, and many more. If your wondering Todd didn't have a Duke offer as Coach K likes to allow other programs to have a few talented players.
Michigan is still being considered by 5 star guard Nimari Burnett, 4 star wing Moses Moody and 4 star center Hunter Dickinson. Todd joins guard Zeb Jackson as the two players committed in the 2020 class right now. This was a great way to end the week as news on Saturday night is not expected to be positive.
- On a weird side note, Ohio State plays Northwestern tonight in what should be a 40+ point blowout in Chicago.
- Zak Irvin signed a two way contract with the Knicks, congrats to Zak for getting an NBA contract.
