Here’s a look at Maryland’s venture capital picture halfway through 2016

So far, the sky-high finish to 2015 hasn't continued.

In the second quarter of 2016, Maryland posted the lowest total of venture capital investments in the last two years.

In all, investors piped in about $72.2 million to companies, according to the latest MoneyTree Report fromPricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and the National Venture Capital Association. The data is provided by Thomson Reuters.
