Michigan Friday: DJ Banged Up At NBA Combine

Michigan has 3 guys at the NBA combine in Chicago this weekend: DJ Wilson, Moe Wagner and Derrick Walton.   Derrick was invited after Big Baller Lonzo Ball withdrew.   Michigan fans are hoping that Wilson and Wagner come back to A2 for another year before heading to the NBA. 


The news yesterday was that DJ pulled out of the 5x5 and a private workout after injuring his quad.
Does that help or hurt his chances of returning to Ann Arbor? It's hard to say.   Most of the feedback, I have been seeing is that both players should return to school.  


Per Brendan Quinn: Wagner has met with Oklahoma City, Orlando, Utah, Detroit, Portland and Minnesota so far.  His 5x5 stats were 13 points, 5-11 FGs, 1-4 3-ptrs, 4 rebounds (2 off), 3 steals, 2 turnovers in 26 minutes.

• The Michigan Football staff seems to be hitting the 2019 class very hard right now.   Which hopefully gives them a leg up on the competition.

• Reminder: QB Tyler Shough is visiting this weekend and could be on commit watch.
