South Baltimore’s Big Data Center Just Got Even Bigger

A Russell Street data center capable of providing really fast internet got 10 percent bigger this year.

Data center owner TierPoint said it added 3,000 square feet to the 30,000-square-foot facility, in addition to uninterruptible power supply capability. All this is part of a wider expansion effort, and more could be coming next year.

The center provides IT and cloud services, and houses more than a dozen providers, like Comcast, Verizon, Cogentand Zayo.
