Michigan Friday: Michigan Playing With Purpose

It was great to see Michigan on the floor yesterday afternoon in their practice jerseys and miss matched shoes.   I don't know if they are going to beat Purdue today at noon but a hat tip goes to the players and coaches on playing with less then perfect conditions prior to the game.    I also like that they are firmly in the NCAA tournament which about 6 weeks ago was in serious doubt.      Well done guys, keep playing hard!

• In news that was expected, Devin Asiasi is headed to UCLA to resume his career.   He will be in the NFL in a few years.

• I was a bit more surprised with this news:  Jake Fruhmorgen is going to transfer to UF.   I haven't heard his name in weeks/months and my guess is Jimmy and staff didn't make his transfer to A2 a priority.   Jake is not a grad transfer and would have to sit out a year.

• Huber Heights (OH.) Wayne 2018 four-star WR L'Christian Smith will visit  Ann Arbor this weekend.

• Seems Ambry Thomas will wear #1 next year
