Wolverine Wednesday: Recruiting Blitz

It's been awhile since we have had some good recruiting information, hopefully that is about to change with the start of Spring Practice on Friday.   As you might imagine, players want to see the campus, talk to the players, but they also want to see what a Jim Harbaugh practice looks like.

• 4 star NY TE Jeremy Ruckert will be in this weekend for a visit.  He has visited ND and Wisconsin and is getting close to a decision.  Jeremy is ranked the #1 or #2 TE in the country.

• NJ WR Jahan Dotson is also planning a visit to Ann Arbor next month.

• TX DB Trent Gordon visited last weekend for his Spring Break and called his visit "great".

• GA CB Chris Smith will be visiting soon.

• Michigan has offered 4 star St. Louis 2018 DE Ronnie Perkins

• DTR released his top 7 and Michigan is in it.  With Cal, Florida State, North Carolina, Oregon South Carolina, and UCLA.  Most expect this to be a UCLA and Michigan battle, with UCLA holding a slight lean at the moment.

-As I'm sure you have seen, Jimmy is now doing Planters Peanut commercials.   Rock Star

-There is some buzz that DE Shelton Johnson might not be on the Spring Roster.  Johnson would be a Junior next season and is from Delray Beach, Florida.   He wore #7 last year with Shane Morris.   Which means both guys that wore #7 could no longer be on the team.
