Wolverine Wednsday: Welcomes North Carolina

For some reason it seems the basketball blue bloods don't often make a trip to Crisler Arena in the non-conference season.   That changes tonight as North Carolina will play against our Wolverines at 9:00 on ESPN in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.   Should be a good one!

• I don't have any inside information but 2020 QB Harrison Bailey (who has the most QB name ever) will make his commitment announcement on Thursday.   I expect this is the reason for the commit watch.  He will make a decision between Michigan and Tennessee tomorrow.  

• Jeff Brohm is expected to make his Louisville vs. Purdue decision today.  As we know, if Jeff leaves that opens Michigan's door to George Karlaftis.

• Coaches were out to see Mazi Smith on Tuesday.

• Coach Washington visited with Joey Velazquez

• Congratulations to Devin Bush on being named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year! 

• Will Hart was named Big Ten Punter of the Year! 

• 14 Wolverines got All Big Ten Honors
