Produce delivery startup Hungry Harvest and health IT startup ltutela took home top honors at Light City U’s startup pitch competition.
The Light the Future Pitch Competition brought together five health care startups and five sustainability startups to compete for two $5,000 grants from the Warnock Foundation. The contest, judged by a panel of local investors and industry experts, took place during the Light City U Health and Sustainability conferences at the Columbus Center Thursday.
The contest was intended to draw attention to a growing cohort of startups with ideas for solving health and social problems, or that in some way give back to the community.
