The importance of working together and supporting one another was echoed over and over at the Baltimore Business Journal’s Tech 10 Awards Thursday night. Well, technically it was the Tech 11.
“We’re especially honored that you stretched the rules a little bit to make it the Tech 11,” Protenus cofounderRobert Lord said while accepting the award on behalf of fellow cofounder Nick Culbertson and himself. “For those of you who know us, of course everyone treats us like a single human being.”
Protenus was among several honorees who stressed the importance of the mentoring they’ve received in Baltimore.
“Being [among] the likes of Jen Meyer and Christy Wyskiel, they helped us get off the ground and get running so it’s awesome to be recognized in the same venue as them,” Culbertson said of his fellow honorees.
