After two hours of testimony that ranged from favorable to critical and racially charged, the city Planning Commission unanimously gave its approval Thursday to a master plan for a $5.5 billion development in Port Covington by Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank.
The action sets forth a working document for city officials to use for planning and zoning legislation at City Hall and members of the commission advised Plank's Sagamore Development Co. to heed some of the comments as the group moves forward.
