The first rentals as part of Baltimore's new bike-share program will be made available in October, though an exact date has yet to be set.
This will be the first of several pushes as the city rolls out its $2.4 million bike-share system. The system will include 465 bikes and 50 rental stations by next spring, said James Decker, the bike share coordinator for Baltimore's Department of Transportation.
