Remember how David Cutcliff turned down the Michigan job? So it's hard to know if Brady Quinn does have a contact in the Michigan athletic department or not. I like the idea of locking Jimmy up for a lifetime contract but how would that work?
When Jimmy's 85 is he still cashing checks?
If he goes Walt Disney and gets frozen, does his family cash checks for a 1000 years?
All these questions need to be answered!!! :)
If signing a lifetime contract keeps the NFL away and stupid questions like ESPN floated this week like: Is Harbaugh a good fit for UCLA? Sign it up. I'm sure it has escape clauses on both sides, so Michigan doesn't get into a ND - Charlie Weiss situation or Jim can live out his dream of being the Commissioner of the Big 10.
This year was not an impressive one from a overachieving standpoint, but we still have an in-demand coach and that means something when you look at all the openings the top programs are going to have this year.
You know what all these college football head coaching opening mean right? That the Alabama boosters will now purchase a private island for Nick Sabin and his family.
Speaking of coaches who continue to get paid. How many checks does Chip Kelly get? I would guess 3: Eagles, 49'ers, and ESPN. Sources are now saying that UCLA and Florida are in a battle to get Chip as their next head coach.

- Michigan Basketball played the local D2 team in Hawaii last night and won 102-64. Which was good game to get all the bench players some time. They will face VCU at 5:00 on ESPN2 today. Are you wondering how good the Wolverines are? LSU who beat the Wolverines by 2 points on Monday, lost to a ranked ND by 40 last night.
- DWade had a twitter shout out to Michigan's Charles Matthews after his 22 points last night.
- Michigan has offered UCLA commit 2018 WR Kyle Philips. Seems Kyle will take an official visit to A2.
- Hopefully we will hear more about Peters healthy and practice availability today.
