Michigan Friday: Some Behind the Scenes Info in the Solomon Recruitment

Sam Webb from Scouts gave us a little behind the scenes information on Aubrey's recruitment.   It seems that after the Georgia FU Michigan video got released, Aubrey called Jimmy and re-committed to Michigan at the Army All-American Game. 

Aubrey's mom was impressed by Jimmy and staff much more then the staff from Georgia or Alabama. 

Aubrey also called Jimmy last week to ask for #5.  

The Alabama stuff was clearly a fake out to give his announcement some suspense.

• Remember when I had concerns about the WR recruiting and the fact that Michigan didn't have any commits?   That seems like a long time ago. Now we have the following:

5 Star Donovan People-Jones
4 Star Tarik Black
4 Star Nico Collins
4 Star Oliver Martin
4 Star Brad Hawkins

This has to be the best WR class in Michigan history and the #1 WR class in the country.   Anyone want to bet that Dylan McCaffery hasn't stopped smiling since Wednesday?  How about Pep Hamilton?  I bet he has a big smile as well.

• 2018 LB Kolin Demens from Country Day got offered by UCLA this week.  I think you might recognize that last name. 

• Tim Hardaway went off in the 4th quarter last night for 23 points.
