Michigan Monday: A Couple of ND Commitments

Michigan next year needs to replace starters and many positions including cornerback and wide receivers, which are the two positions that Freddy "Footwork" Canteen played for Michigan.   Freddy had shoulder surgery last spring but wasn't on this roster this past season.   He announced he was going to transfer many months ago and has found a new home at Notre Dame. 

I had high hopes for Freddy at Michigan but he never seemed to find a spot on Harbaugh's Wolverines.   Freddy played 7 games at Michigan and we wish him nothing but good luck at ND.  I have no idea when he will be eligible to play as he wasn't on the roster this past season. 

• A ND recruiting win happened this morning when 4 star Cass Tech CB Kalon Gervin committed to the Fighting Irish. 

• Michigan Basketball got its first road win of the year at IU last night.  They are still a bubble team.  Needs a good run in the Big Ten tournament.
