Michigan Friday: Looking at The Big Ten Weekend

Since Michigan is on a boring bye week, I thought I would look at the this weekends interesting Big Ten Match-ups and there are a few.

Ohio State @ IU:  I don't think this is OSU@Purdue from last year but it will be interesting for about a quarter or two.  IU's QB Penix is questionable for the game and is a game time decision.  OSU -18

Pitt @ PSU:  Love this rivalry and it should be played every year like Iowa and Iowa State.   Penn State is a -17 though.

ASU @ MSU:  Don't press send!  author Herm Edwards will head to East Lansing.  The Sun Devils upset the Spartans last year, not this year as Sparty is a 2+ TD favorite.

Iowa @ Iowa State:  They play for some corn trophy and Game Day is there.  Love non-conference rivalry games that are played every year.  Iowa -2

TCU @ Purdue: Night game on BTN and there might be a few points scored.  Purdue -2.5

  • Oklahoma State's #1 Booster T.Boone Pickens died at 91 yesterday.  You have to tip your hat to a guy named T. Boone that made billions of dollars and gave away a ton his favorite University.

  • ND hosts New Mexico this weekend, then travels to Georgia next weekend.  Bowling Green and Scot Loeffler get the Irish in a few weeks.

Enjoy the weekend!
