SmartLogic Introduces Baltimore Women in Tech Micro Grants Program

SmartLogic is organizing a new micro grant program called Baltimore Women in Tech (BWiT). The program is aimed at supporting gender diversity and empowering women within the Baltimore tech community. Our hope is that a small amount of funding and support can help be the catalyst for getting creative ideas off the ground and for converting ideas into action.

The program is open to all women (both cis and trans are welcome) who have a project they would like to complete in the Baltimore metro area and that will benefit the women in the Baltimore tech community. Application are due by April 21, 2017.

If you are interested in applying for a micro grant but would like more information, feel free to check out SmartLogic’s blog post about the program or email Chelsea Keene  at chelsea@smartlogic.io with any questions. The SmartLogic blog will be periodically updated with new information regarding the program. We will also be hosting two virtual information sessions on March 13, 2017 at 6:30pm and April 4, 2017 at 6:30pm.
