Big Ten Weekend Match-ups

It's crystal clear which is the best game of the weekend.  It's a top 10 match-up that is somehow not played at night.  This will be an interesting game and the winner should have the advantage of heading to the Big Ten Title game and maybe even the playoffs.

Game of the Week:
Penn State at OSU: The line on this game surprised me as PSU is a 6.5 underdog.  I expected maybe a few points but not a TD.  Penn State is hot and OSU is coming off a bye week so it will be interesting to see what happens.  OSU at home will be tough to beat, but Penn State made the #1 defense in the country look like Rutgers last week.  Penn State 28 OSU 24

Minnesota at Iowa:  The Golden Gophers are still a little up and down as they continue to learn how to "row the boat".   Iowa is doing what Iowa does every year, look good one week and then terrible the next.  Iowa is -7.   Iowa 17 Minnesota 14

Nebraska at Purdue:  Nebraska will be looking for a new head coach soon and earlier this year it looked like Purdue's Jeff Brohm would only be there a year.  Purdue then lost to Rutgers last week, which is a clear sign there is more work to be done.   Purdue is a 5.5 favorite.   Nebraska 10 Purdue 7

MSU at Northwestern:  The Spartans are keeping their team together with duct tape and crazy glue but its working.  They keep winning ugly and might have to do the same this weekend.   MSU is -2.5 in this one.   MSU 21 NW 14

IU at Maryland:  IU has a losing record at 3-4, the team that took Michigan to OT.  This is a strange year for Michigan Football.   Maryland is probably looking to the baseball team for it's QB, as they have been dropping like flies.  IU is favored by 4.5.   IU 28 Maryland 13

Wisconsin at Illinois:  This is a 26 line, enough said.   Wisky 34 Illinois 10
