Tom Sadowski is leaving the Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore to take a new position with the state’s public university system.
Sadowski was appointed to the newly-created role of Vice Chancellor of Economic Development for the University System of Maryland (USM). He starts May 2.
“We created this vice chancellor position to build on USM’s success in this area and to enable the system to focus its expertise, programs, and resources even more sharply and strategically on the state’s economic development priorities,” Chancellor Robert L. Caret said in statement.
