Venture for America sees success in Baltimore

When Peter DiPrinzio came to Baltimore as a new college graduate with a liberal arts degree in 2013, he wasn’t necessarily planning to stick around.

DiPrinzio, 24, landed here as a fellow with Venture for America, a program that trains recent college graduates to work for startup companies and places them in two-year stints with a company of their choice.

“There’s a sense among college seniors and liberal arts graduates that you want to do something that leaves your options open, but is still engaging and lets you work on different projects,” DiPrinzio said. “I wanted those things. I wanted a job that let me work on different projects.”
