Michigan Thursday: "You Can Go Your Own Way"

When I heard the next piece of news for transfer season, the Fleetwood Mac song played in my head.

You can go your own way
Go your own way
You can call it
Another lonely day
You can go your own way

This wasn't a surprise at all, as WR Moe Ways announced he will take a graduate year at another program.  Moe saw his playing time decrease as talented WR's entered the program as freshman.    We wish Moe nothing but the best at his next school.

You can go your Moe Ways..................

  • JaRaymond Hall per Sam Webb has received his release from Michigan but is still weighing his options and might end up staying in Ann Arbor.

  • Michigan Basketball struggled on defense last night and got beat handily by NC in the Dean Dome 86-71.   Wagner went for 20.   Time to bring back the 1-3-1!

  • Sounds like ASU is moving forward with hiring ESPN's Herm Edwards as its next head coach.  This would have been a great hire 10 years ago.  I think Herm is a great football guy but not sure this is going to be a good long term fit.  Speaking of ESPN, they continue to struggle and laid off 150 production staff yesterday.

  • Coach Harbaugh and Coach Frey were in home with TE Tommy Tremble last night.   Sounds like Tommy is a big priority and hoping he commits and signs on 12/20.  Tommy visited A2 last weekend.

  • Coach Hamilton was in home with 4 star WR Ja'Mar Chase last night.  Chase visited A2 last weekend.

  • Tennessee is struggling to find its next head coach, they were interested in Purdue's Jeff Brohm yesterday, but couldn't come to terms and now have move on to NC State's Dave Doeren.   Dave is expected to make a decision between NC State and Tennessee today.

  • FSU had to re-schedule its hurricane game for this weekend to become bowl eligible.   The side show is what happens with Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M.   An FSU opening will be a huge one.
