Sorry this is so late in the day.  Haven't been looking forward to this post and don't like typing out what my head is telling me.

Tale of the Tape:
OSU D line vs. M O Line = OSU
M D line vs. OSU O Line = Michigan
Michigan O vs. OSU D = OSU
OSU O vs. Michigan D = OSU
Momentum = OSU
Coaching = OSU
Healthy QB = OSU

I've seen a lifetime worth of JT Barrett having a 3rd and 3 and running for a first down out of the shotgun.  Michigan's LB's must see that play in their nightmares.   Get ready for that again.   Urban knows he has the advantage and won't want to be too risky in the offense.  He is going to run the 2 tailbacks and JT all over the place.  Then take a few deep shots for the kill shot.

I have also had a lifetime worth of hurt Michigan QB's in this game, per the post earlier in the week, I stated 4 Michigan starters have been healthy in this rivalry in the last 10 years.   This streak has to end at some point, it would be nice if Michigan would go "Iowa" tomorrow and pull an un-likely upset.   Maybe the Wolverines should paint to visitors locker room pink?

Yell, its about F'ing time if.................
  • JOK plays like its his last football game ever
  • The Michigan defense stops OSU and puts points on the board
  • Urban's Michigan voodoo doll gets stolen
  • Harbaugh and Don Brown have something special for this week
Yell, who wants to do shots? if..............................
  • The game is over is the first quarter
  • Michigan's offense has less then 100 yards
  • Michigan's defense is playing well but not enough to win
  • Urban continues to smile a lot
  • Dobbins is running wild
Michigan shouldn't cover any OSU WR's if its less then 3rd and 4.   JT is going to run and probably get the first down.  I hate that.

Michigan's 1st and really 2nd string QB's will probably be watching in street clothes as the last we heard on Wednesday was that Peters is still in the concussion protocol and Wilton isn't cleared for contact.   That pretty much translates to OSU stacking the box, stopping the run and making JOK beat them through the air.   If he were to go down, it's Alex Malzone time.

Michigan has struggled against good teams this year and this game shouldn't be any different.   All week, I have been trying to envision ways that Michigan could upset the Buckeyes and the only thing that came to me was a complete game by the defense where they pitch a shut out and even score a couple touchdowns.   The issue is, Michigan's defense has played well all year (outside of PSU) and has given up points late in the game due to being tired and a lack of depth.

I hate this prediction but feel like Michigan is over-matched, especially when the Wolverines have the ball.  I'm expecting a few turnovers and easy OSU points.  This is going to be an ugly game  if you're a fan of the Maize and Blue.   This game reminds me of when a Brady Hoke coached Michigan opened in Dallas against Alabama.   I hate this week!
