A new partnership with social media management company Hootsuite will mean big exposure for Baltimore’s ZeroFOX.
In a deal announced Thursday, Hootsuite will include ZeroFOX’s social media cybersecurity tools among its offerings to its 12 million customers. The partnership significantly expands ZeroFOX’s reach by getting the company in front of a new kind of customer — marketing managers — and signals the potential for big growth for ZeroFOX, as cybersecurity becomes a more pervasive part of corporate social media strategy.
ZeroFOX Chief Operating Officer Evan Blair described it like this: Before, social media security services like ZeroFOX’s may have been an optional add-on for marketing managers shopping for social media management services like Hootsuite’s — a “Hey would you like fries with that?” kind of deal.
