Jamie McDonald isn't quite sure who will show up for Light City Baltimore.
“It’s a first-time festival so we have no way of knowing,” she said.
McDonald isn’t worried. She said excitement is building around the March 28-April 3 event. Besides, she knows it takes time for a festival to really catch on.
She compares it to South by Southwest, the festival that put Austin, Texas, on the map and Art Basel, the art extravaganza in Miami that started out really small.
“They really redefine a city’s brand and culture in the eyes of the world,” she said.
