Baltimore Social is expanding its sports leagues for children with a new nonprofit.
Baltimore Social launched BmoreKids as a pilot program in 2015, but quickly found that running a free sports program for youth required more resources than Baltimore Social could dedicate on its own. Status as a free-standing, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization means Bmore Kids has been able to hire its own executive director and will be able to raise money for growth beyond what Baltimore Social could support on its own.
