Baltimore software firm Catalyst DevWorks has raised $11.5 million to advance engineering team development tools and services.
Catalyst uses data and predictive analytics to efficiently assemble teams of engineers. Companies can license the tool and use it to improve their own hiring, or can pay Catalyst to put together and deploy an engineering team. The equity and debt investment, from North Carolina-based Salem Investment Partners, will go toward improving the capabilities of the licensed version of Catalyst’s software. The money will also allow Catalyst to establish more offices, to better serve clients who want in-person support.
