Whether your organization is just getting started in greening its operations or you’re ready to take your sustainability efforts to the next level, a new free program offered by the Maryland Department of the Environment and Maryland Manufacturing Extension Partnership will help you meet your goals.
The Greening Your Business program will help your organization identify opportunities that reduce environmental impacts and save money, boost the impact of your green team and increase employee engagement, and raise awareness of your environmental stewardship through the Maryland Green Registry.
The program is open to all businesses and organizations and includes two half-day workshops (in February and April) as well as on-site assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities specific to your facility. Workshop 1 will help you set priorities for implementing these sustainable practices. Workshop 2 will assist companies in developing a system to ensure that environmental performance and operating efficiency continue to improve year after year.
