When it comes to the tech industry, salary expectations tend to run a little higher than in other fields. While the particulars vary from one part of the country to the next, there’s no shortage ofcoding boot camps trading on the potential for high starting packages—which can hit six figures at the Facebooks and Googles of the world.
In reality, tech salaries run the gamut, just as they do in any other field. But according to a recent report from IT recruiting platform Mondo, positions in web development, interactive and e-commerce have some of the highest salaries in the industry.
The firm’s Tech Salary Guide breaks down the salary ranges for a multitude of tech positions, using insights from its most-placed tech positions over 365 days. Unsurprisingly, C-suite jobs like CIO and chief security officer lead the pack, with both earning over $200,000 on the high end, but developer salaries are nothing to scoff at.
